Purpose: Resetting a password to access a Requestor's account
ABOUT THIS SECTION: To order a Status Certificate, Requestors need to either create a new account, or log into statuscertifcate.com if they have ordered Status Certificates previously.
If a Requestor finds they are unable to log into their account, they will need to reset their password.
Open a new browser window and input the URL: www.statuscertificate.com
Click login at the top right corner.
From here, select Forgot your password?.
You will then be prompted to enter your username (the email associated with your account), and click the Request Reset via Email button.
NOTE: If you have pop-up blockers installed, you will need to temporarily turn them off. The password reset process utilizes pop-ups such as the one below, which will appear after the previous step has been completed.
You will receive an email with a link to copy and paste in your Web Browser (i.e. Google Chrome, or Safari) allowing you to easily reset your password.
Note: If you are using the New Outlook, we've found it does not hyperlink the URL sent in the Password Reset E-Mail. If a hyperlink is not available, manually copy and paste the full URL, including the special characters at the end.
A pop-up will appear to confirm your password was successfully changed.
Click OK to exit.
Now you can log in with your email and new password to order a Status Certificate!
