For security purposes, countries outside of North America are blocked on our network.
The best way to overcome this, and ensure that our applications work outside of North America are:
- Setup a VPN to your organizations network on your PC or Laptop
- A VPN is a connection to your organizations network, which resides in North America, and acts as a proxy. You are essentially using the organizations network to establish a connection first.
If for whatever reason a VPN is not possible, we will need your Public IP address and then have our IT and Engineering team allow your specific IP into the network.
Note that this method can typically take 3-5 business days to complete.
To obtain your public IP while overseas, you can use the following link: https://www.whatismyip.com/
This IP address can then be copied and pasted into an email to support@shiftsuite.com asking to be allowed access while abroad.
