Accounting - Adding a Company Wide Account In Chart of Accounts

Navigation:  Accounting > List Maintenance > Chart of Accounts
Purpose:  How to Create a new Account and add it to multiple/all Corporations.

Adding an Account 

• Click on Accounting
• Click on List Maintenance
• Click on Chart of Accounts
• Click New

Adding information to existing Account 

• Right-click Account, click Edit

• Select Type of account (in this example, we are choosing Bank)
• Fill in Account & Banking information (if applicable)
• Make sure 'Is Active?' is check marked
• Save

Adding Account to Other Corporations

1. • Right-click Account, click Edit
   • Click Copy
     • Click Insert when Account Does Not Exist to create an Account if it is not already existing in the other Condominiums
     • Click Update Existing Accounts to update currently existing Account in the other Condominiums
   • Select which Condominiums you want to add this Account to
   • Save
