When taking over a condominium from a previous Property Management Company (PMC), you may notice that the Maintenance Fees calculated in Shiftsuite Accounting do not reflect the Maintenance Fees. This is often caused by rounding errors or incorrect fee calculations carried over from the previous system.
If you are unable to use the Assessment and Proportion Percentage to accurately calculate fees, you can instead set Flat Fees for each unit.
Steps to Set Up Flat Fees:

Access Corporation Details

Go to the Corporation Details menu.

Select the Corporation Information icon.

Choose the Appropriate Tab

Depending on the type of unit you need to edit, select one of the following tabs:

Unit Info – for standard condo units

Parking Info – for parking spaces

Locker Info – for lockers

Input Fees

You have two options to set fees:
a. Manual Entry: Enter a Rate Type and Rate ($) for each unit individually.
b. Use the Wizard: Apply a flat fee across all units at once for faster setup.

Click the Wizard button, select your Units, enter in your Rate and click OK.
Save Your Changes

After entering or updating the rates, click the Save button to ensure all changes are applied and recorded in the system.

Important: If you do not save, your updates will be lost, and you will need to re-enter the information.
