Purpose:To customize which charges sync in the Owner's PAP
The Syncing PAP options allow you to customize what the Owners' PAP syncs to.
By default, they automatically sync to the Assessment, Revised Assessment, and Special Assessments when the Condominium is first imported.
If you are creating the Corporation within Shiftsuite Accounting, you will need to enable the Sync PAP with Assessment option.
To configure the Sync PAP settings, navigate to Property Management > Owner Maintenance > Banking.
NOTE: This is permission-based - not all users may have this tab available
- Once there, click or ensure that the Sync PAP with Assessment option is checked. If you need to apply this to multiple Unit Owners, scroll to the next one and repeat the process.
- Ensure you Save your work.
- Additional options include Sync PAP with Rental Parking and Sync PAP with Rental Lockers, but these are not considered maintenance items included in the Assessment.
NOTE: To edit or enter a PAP click on Enter Pre-Authorized Payment
To ensure that the Owners' PAP is fully synced to your selected options, make sure the Sync PAP? box is checked on the PAP form.
Without this final step, the PAP will not sync to any changes, such as Assessments, Parking, or Miscellaneous items. Additionally, it will not appear in the validation, preventing you from updating the Owners' PAP.
If you receive this validation warning, it's best to investigate any changes before selecting Yes to update the Owners' PAP.
