Navigation: Corporation Details - Corporation Information - Financial Tab
Purpose: Close periods monthly after board Financial Statements and yearly after Auditor Adjustments, preventing postings with permission-based warnings.
- Click Close Period

- This is to close off the month
- Non-admin account will have a warning and not be able to post.
- This is to close off the month

- Admin account will have a warning and be given a choice to proceed with the posting.

- Click Close Interim Period
- This is only available to System Admins.
Note: They can be the Owner/President of the Company, Head Accountant and/or Controller. This is used once the Fiscal Year Financials have been audited and provided to the Corporation.
This prevents everyone except for System Admins to post to the Provisional Closed Period.
Note: If the close period needs to be removed, the system administrator can remove it by closing the interim period, clicking yes in the confirmation and finally clicking on the x next to the current closed period date.
Note: If there was a previous current closed date, it will populate once the most current date is removed.
