Menu Navigation: Community News>New Post
Purpose: To Post a new Community News Item
Note: By default, you will post to the corporation you are logged into, however you do have an option to post to All or Select corporations by utilizing the “Corporations” drop-down menu.
Step 1: Locating Community News
- Locate Community News (This location may vary from site to site)
- Click on Community News
Step 2: Create New Post
- Click on New Post
Step 3: Posting News
- As per the Note above, By default you will post to the corporation you are logged into, however, there is an option to post to All or Select corporations by utilizing the “Corporations” drop-down menu
- Create Title of news post
- Select the type of post it will be
- Select your date as to when the Post takes effect. Note this is not the date it will actually Post.
- In the Content Area, type in the text of the news post OR paste it from Word using the paste from word tool. It is recommended you copy and paste from Notepad to keep your posts consistent with styles and fonts.
- Ensure the "Send Notification" is either on or off, depending on your needs
- Preview your post (if necessary)
- Post News
Note: You have many tools at your disposal (selected in Red) that will allow you to customize your post with ease.
